70 km of dark fibre in Mombasa
Mombasa is where East Africa’s submarine cables come ashore. Our metro fibre joins the cable landing stations at Shanzu, Nyali and Seacom with the Icolo data centres and Telephone House, so a carrier or content provider can land in Kenya, reach the facilities that matter and carry traffic on to wherever 2Africa and EASSy land, from Somalia and South Africa to Europe, the Gulf and South Asia.
Nine routes, eight submarine cables
Every data centre and cable landing station on the network is reached by more than one route, and the submarine cables land at Shanzu and Nyali. Each route is numbered and named by the roads it follows. Hover over a route or cable in the key to pick it out.
